TTC Vision
The Technology Center exists to inspire lifelong learning, working relationships, and innovation through career and technical education.
The Technology Center's objective is to provide a quality education for a diverse group of students that incorporates challenging academic and technical experiences with work skills that are required for success in a global society in conjunction with the overall mission to ensure academic success for all students. The Technology Center services students from Bethune-Bowman, North, Orangeburg-Wilkinson and Calhoun County High schools.
We Believe That:
- Students are valued individuals with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
- Students and staff should demonstrate positive relationships and mutual respect to enhance students' self-esteem.
- Students learn best when they are actively engaged in demonstrating their understanding of essential knowledge and skills through hands-on, real-world applications.
- Students learn through differentiated instruction and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning in a meaningful context.
- Students need the support and cooperation of parents, business and industry, and the community.
- Students need to be actively involved in developing character, solving problems, and producing quality work.
- Students in our school can become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners if there is a commitment to continuous improvement.
