I am a distinguished alumnus of South Carolina State University, where I attained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling, and an Educational Specialist degree in School Leadership. Though my trajectory into the realm of education was unconventional, it became evident that pedagogy is my true vocation. Before embarking on my educational career, I accumulated valuable experience as an online travel agent, working in retail, and served as an HIV/AIDS counselor.

My inaugural foray into education transpired at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, where I had the privilege of serving as a Special Education Teacher. Fortuitously, my administrative journey commenced at the same institution, where I assumed the role of Assistant Principal. In this capacity, I dedicated myself to the enhancement of academic achievement and the cultivation of lifelong learning competencies for every student.

For the past decade, I have presided as the Director of The Orangeburg Technology Center. The importance of Career and Technical Education (CTE) has reached an unprecedented zenith in contemporary times. Whether one aspires to enter the workforce immediately, pursue a degree, harbors a clear vocational aspiration or simply seeks to acquire pragmatic and innovative skills, CTE offers invaluable benefits.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in the companionship of my beloved wife and cherished daughter. My leisure activities encompass angling, game hunting, literary exploration, and the art of creative writing.
